| Le DM15 (Triplo
Zero) possono essere collocate all'interno della
categoria delle “Parlour”, sebbene rispetto
a queste abbiano una cassa sonora con forme più
ampie. Siamo quindi in presenza di chitarre molto comode
e maneggevoli, con un suono agile e completo, intenso
ma non aggressivo. I bassi profondi quasi come quelli
delle “Dreadnought”, ed i cantini molto
pronunciati, conferiscono a questo modello di chitarre
una timbrica inconfondibile.
La presenza di una cassa più bassa
rispetto alle “Dreadnought”, porterebbe
a pensare ad un suono con scarsa proiezione. Dopo averle
ascoltate, si noterà invece che la sonorità
delle DM15 di Danilo Metelli ha potenza e presenza sorprendenti.
Queste chitarre si prestano quindi con molta facilità
al fingerstyle e al fingerpicking, ma possono essere
usate anche per uno strumming melodico.
Metelli realizza questo modello anche
con paletta finestrata e attacco del manico al 12mo
tasto (foto in basso a destra)

DM15
 The
DM15 guitars (Triple Zero) can be classified as ‘Parlour’,
although they present a larger body than classical
parlour guitars. They are very comfortable and easy
to play, with a bold and agile sound, bright but
not ringing. They have very low basses, almost as
low as Dreadnoughts, and their sharp treble give
these guitars a unique sound.
Also the body has a thin line, eventually
thinner than Dreadnoughts. This should actually produce
a short projection of sound, but once played, any DM15
by Danilo Metelli will show surprising presence and
strength. These guitars are therefore very suitable
for fingerstyle, finger picking, and melodic strumming
as well.
