Durante tutte le fasi di costruzione delle sue chitarre, Danilo Metelli usa solo parti sagomate e tagliate a mano, senza ausilio di macchinari. La cura minuziosa per i materiali e le finiture non consentono perciò una produzione a larga tiratura. Le catene interne sono realizzate utilizzando il classico modello “X-bracing”, salvo particolari richieste del cliente.

Le rosette - soundholes

During every building phase, Danilo Metelli uses only parts handmade and assembled without any machining. Due to this procedure, and also to the great attention given by Metelli to materials and finish, a mass production of acoustic guitars is reasonably impossible.

Generally speaking, the braces are built using the typical ‘scallopped-X’ model, except under clients’ specific requests.
